Am I talking to a real person?
No. My True Bestie is an AI companion. Your friend has a name, a personality and a backstory so conversations feel natural, but it is software, and we tell you this when you sign up.
Who can use My True Bestie?
Adults aged 18 and over. We ask for your date of birth when you start, and the service does not continue if you are under 18.
How does the free trial work?
Your 48-hour trial starts with your first message. Chat is included up to 200 messages, which is far more than most people send. You also get 3 free call minutes on your first call, plus 2 bonus minutes on day 2 if you are still chatting. There is one free trial per phone number.
Will I be charged when the trial ends?
No. Nothing is charged automatically. When the trial ends you get a message with the plans, and you choose whether to pay.
Do plans renew automatically?
No. Each plan is a one-time payment through a Razorpay link sent on WhatsApp. When your plan or credits run out, we send a reminder and you decide whether to top up.
How are calls billed?
Calls use minutes from a call pack and are counted per second. Each call can last up to 30 minutes. You get a warning when your balance is low, and the call ends when your minutes run out.
How do I pay?
Through Razorpay, using UPI, debit or credit card, or netbanking. Your plan activates automatically on WhatsApp once the payment is confirmed. We never see or store your card or UPI details.
What does my friend remember, and for how long?
Key details you share, such as your job, hobbies, family and routine, saved as short notes. Everything is deleted automatically 3 months after your last activity. You can ask for deletion sooner on our data deletion page.
